2014 Dover-Phila Federal Credit Union Holiday Shootout FAQ

Where will the shootout be held?

The shootout will be held at Tuscarawas Central Catholic High School. The address is 777 Third Street NE New Philadelphia, OH 44663.

 

What are the admission prices for the shootout?

One day passes will be sold for $10 per person. This will allow you to see 3 games on Friday, 7 games on Saturday, and 4 Games on Sunday. Students are $5 per day. Children who do not yet attend school will be admitted for free.

 

What if I only want to watch one game?

The cost is still $10 per person ($5 per student), no matter if you stay all day or just for one game.

 

Are there hotels nearby? Where will our team be staying?

There are plenty of hotels nearby. Contact your school’s athletic department to see where your team will be staying. Some of the hotels nearby include: Schoenbrunn Inn and Suites, America’s Best Value Inn, Comfort Inn, Country Inn and Suites, Hampton Inn, and Holiday Inn Express.

 

Will there be food at the shootout?

All players will be fed immediately following their game(s). There will also be a large concession stand at the school that will be open all day.

 

Are there restaurants nearby?

There are plenty of restaurants. We have traditional chain places (Applebee’s Texas Road House, & Red Lobster). We would really suggest some of the local places like The Dennison Yard (Dennison), Cibo’s (Waynesburg), Magoo’s (New Phila), The Manor (Strasburg), and The Pro’s Table (New Phila).

 

Will there be mass offered while I am at the shootout?

There are 4 local perishes that will offer mass. Sacred Heart is located in New Philadelphia, St. Joseph’s is located in Dover, Immaculate Conception is loacated in Dennison, and Holy Trinity is in Bolivar.

 

What media will be covering the shootout?

Check with your local newspapers and radio stations. The Times Reporter in New Philadelphia will be covering the shootout.
